Bridge to Terabithia
An elaborate and faithful adaptation of Katherine Paterson's beloved book about two children, rejected by their peers, who find friendship and an outlet for their vivid imaginations in the make-believe world in their back yards. While in the wondrous kingdom of Terabithia with its mystical creatures the children create their own reality; back in the real world they must figure out a way to deal with the bullies at their school. Filmed here in New Zealand, the film features rising stars AnnaSophia Robb and Josh Hutcherson in the lead roles, along with some new kiwi talent cast as the mean kids.
