Driving Lessons

Rupert Grint took a break from Hogwart's School of Magic to make this sweet coming-of-age comedy alongside his Harry Potter mum, Julie Walters. Ben is a shy, awkward teen who has lived in the shadow of his over-protective mother (Laura Linney), until a job with faded actress and social diva, Eve Walton (Walters) helps him break out of his shell. Writer Jeremy Brock makes his directing debut having made his name with the screenplays for some other feisty female characters, noatably 'Mrs Brown' and 'Charlotte Gray'.
