Legendary filmmaker Francois Truffaut followed the life of one of his favourite characters from rebellious adolesence to irresponsible adulthood over the course of four brilliant films collected in this box set. Antoine Doinel (always played by Jean-Pierre Leaud) pursues his ongoing battle against 'proper society' in 'The 400 Blows' (1959), 'Stolen Kisses' (1968), 'Bed and Board' (1970) and 'Love on the Run' (1979). Also included is the second Antoine Doinel film, 'Antoine and Colette', from 1962. This short film is amongst the DVD extras.
