The Andromeda Anthology

This 3 disc set features elements of the sixties sci-fi television sensation 'A for Andromeda' which launched the then unknown actress Julie Christie on the road to super-stardom. Unfortunately the broadcast tapes were deleted by the BBC to save space - so presented here is a somewhat fragmented assemblage of recovered stills and video sequences (one complete episode). The second series 'The Andromeda Breakthrough' survived intact and is included in it's entirety with Andromeda recast as Susan Hampshire (Julie Christie's career had by then ascended into the stratosphere).
