Ape

Involves the efforts of one Dr. Adrian (Boris Karloff) to procure human spinal fluid for his polio-vaccine research by donning the pelt of a slain circus ape and slaughtering innocent people. The result: monsters, shocks and screams. This "APE Film" finished Karloff's contract with Monogram and he returned after eighteen years when Monogram became Allied Artists in 1953 where he made "Frankenstein 1970".
