Kissy Kissy

While 20-something Geoff professes to be making a film, he mostly mooches around the video store where he works, trying to dodge the amorous approaches of his co-worker. He's more interested in his angst-ridden cinematographer whose bratty sister keeps her on edge. Meanwhile his lead actress has a manipulative boyfriend, and his male lead decides to skip town to hang out with a mate in the Marlborough Sounds. All eight protagonists are locked in a complex dance of repressed emotions and unexpressed lust that can only lead to disaster. Local filmakers Elric Kane and Alexander Greenhough self-funded this engaging verite-style story of kiwi slackers.
