Stephen King's Desperation
En route to Lake Tahoe for a much-anticiapted vacation, the family of writer Ralph Carver (Matt Frewer) are arrested by the local sheriff (Ron Perlman) of Nevada town, Desperation. They're not alone in the cells, and it turns out the sheriff has more powers than your average local law enforcer. Directed by prolific King collaborator, Mick Garris, and also starring Tom Skerrit, Kelly Overton, Henry Thomas and Charles Durning.
