The Darwin Awards

Joseph Fiennes is gifted, yet unsuitable, homicide detective Michael Burrows, fired from his job due to his propensity to faint at the sight of blood. He offers his services as an insurance investigator, and is particularly interested in the winners of the so-called 'Darwin Awards', bestowed on those who have managed to accidentally kill themselves in particularly stupid ways. Together with Winona Ryder, (and a host of big name cameos), he intends to use his superior profiling skills to find out what makes these people tick.
