Showbands
This four-part made for television drama, steeped in the music, atmosphere and nostalgia of the showband era, is an endearing tale of bar cleaner Denise (Kerry Katona), whose dreams of songstress stardom have been languishing in the bottom of her mop bucket. Along with has-been manager, Tony Golden (Liam Cunningham) she sets about carving her way up to singing stardom. Also stars Tina Kellegher and Hugh O'Conor.
