The Bothersome Man

40-year-old Andreas has arrived in a strange city with absolutely no idea how he got there. He has a job, a flat, a beautiful girlfriend, but somehow, something just isn't right. Everyone's so darn nice. This pitch black Norwegian comedy/drama comments on the homogenous deadening of society with a surreal and razor-sharp humour as Andreas slowly realises his existential crisis is tinged with a sinister edge. Winner of several film festival awards around the world, it screened here in the 2007 International Film Festival.
