Breaking into mansions while the homeowners are away, an enigmatic drifter repays his hosts' unwitting hospitality by performing small chores in the residences. His offbeat pastime takes a serious turn when he sneaks into an estate and encounters a beautiful woman who tells him about her abusive marriage. Deciding to take her away from her troubles on the back of his motorcycle, he begins the romantic adventure of a lifetime in this beautifully written, hauntingly dream-like film.
