Downhill Racer

Robert Redford stars as David Chappellet, a hot-shot skier, who gains entry onto the American Olympic team, in director Michael Ritchies' directorial debut. Universally disliked by his teammates because of his self-centred, win-at-all-cost approach, Chappellet soon discovers how fleeting and lonely fame can be. Also stars Gene Hackman and Camilla Sparv.
