The Simpsons Movie
After 20 years on the small screen, the most famous animated family in Springfield, and possibly the world, made the much-anticipated move to the multi-plex. Written by no less than 11 series veterans including Matt Groening and James L. Brooks, and going through an astonishing 158 drafts, the story has an environmental theme as Homer turns Springfield into the most polluted city on the planet. With more than 90 speaking parts there are plenty of familiar faces in the crowd for fans of the show to spot in this extra-long episode from the lives of the family that never grows old.
