Shoot 'Em Up
Over-the-top action satire with Clive Owen as the hair-trigger badass, Mr Smith, who becomes the unwilling caregiver to an orphaned baby, rescued from a gunfight in which the mother is killed. Turns out mum wasn't the target after all. Monica Bellucci is Smith's sultry partner and Paul Giamatti is the ruthless criminal mastermind in this bombastic, if slightly dishevelled bullet-fest that tips its hat to early classics of the genre like John Woo's 'The Killer', and the more recent 'Crank'.
