Love and Honour

The conclusion to Yoji Yamada's loose Samurai trilogy (following 'Twilight Samurai' and 'Hidden Blade'), focussing on the themes of the title, and a marriage in which the balance is lost. Shinnojo is a lowly food taster for his clan who has grander dreams, but these are cut short when he is blinded in the course of his job.
