The Living and the Dead

A grimly absorbing and genuinely terrifying thriller/drama with Leo Bill delivering a gripping performance as James, a mentally-challenged young man, living with his caring, though exhausted, parents. When his father has to leave on business, he hires a carer to look after his son, and ill wife, but James believes he can take care of things himself, and does not allow the nurse to enter. As things begin to spiral out of control this indie dark horse jumps deftly back and forth over that fine line between reality and madness.
