The American Space Odyssey - The NASA Anthology Of Space Exploration

This four-part documentary series follows the American exploration of space starting with 'Freedom 7' during the 1960s, through to a look at some of the modern day missions. Volume 1: Starting in 1960, the first programme features an exploration of the Mercury program. Volume 2: The Eagle Has Landed and America wins the race to put the first man on the moon. Volume 3: As the '60s ended the Apollo mission program completes its detailed exploration of the moon. Volume 4: The conclusion features a look at the possibilities of future space colonisation.
