Perfect Creature
The second film from Kiwi Glenn Standring is an ambitious vampire tale set in Nuovo Zealandia, a 1960s-style alternative to our past. The 'Brotherhood' (a peaceful organisation of vampires) are respected, if not wholly trusted, and one rogue member is about to shatter the truce. Beautifully filmed in Dunedin, Oamaru and Auckland and mixing to good effect the cop and vampire genres.
