The Event

A talented cast comes together for a contemporary issue film set in New York. A city prosecutor (Posey) is sent to investigate the death of an apparent suicide named Matt Shapiro (McKellar) and - through stories from his family and friends - recreates his death and more importantly his rich life. A look at AIDS and assisted suicide that is peppered with the comedic moments of real life.
