Any Way The Wind Blows

Belgian musician Tom Barman, founder of the rock band dEUS, has made a wild, ambitious debut that draws its influences from sources as varied as Woody Allen, P.T. Anderson, Frank Zappa (whose song gives the film its title) and Jeff Wall. Playing out to a killer soundtrack, Barman's slice of life film is filled with family crises, romantic entanglements and eccentric coincidences. An auspicious and playful debut, this film moves and doesn't want to stop. Soundtrack features music by Herbie Hancock, Squarepusher, Queens of the Stone Age, Charles Mingus, Yazoo, Magnus and many others.
