The Lookout
Writer Scott Frank ('Out of Sight', 'Minority Report') makes his directorial debut with this successful young noir-thriller. Handicapped ex-athlete Joseph Gordon-Levitt gets a job as a janitor in a bank and soon becomes involved with a gang of thieves looking to loot its safe. Tense, stylish and entertaining, this film is another feather in Gordon-Levitt's cap, and drew fellow thespians Jeff Daniels, Isla Fisher and Matthew Goode.
