London to Brighton

Award-winning urban thriller by British writer-director Paul Andrew Williams, adapted from his short film, 'Royalty'. A gritty and unsentimental glimpse of the London gangster scene as a prostitute and her new protege flee various unsavoury characters, and hole up in the southern seaside resort. Jumping from present to past we gradually learn how the two women got into this mess. A well put together first feature earning Williams a Most Promising Newcomer BAFTA.
