Bionic Woman: The Complete Series
A remake of a fairly light '70s TV programme, this new show takes a dark turn similar to the contemporary, dramatic 'Battlestar Galactica'. Jaime Sommers (Michelle Ryan) has an horrific car crash and the mysterious Berkut Group steps in to rebuild her with mechanical and computerized parts. Sommers is now forced to deal with a body not her own, a newly-discovered world of arms dealers and assassinations that Berkut require her to thwart and pressing family responsibilities. Features film-quality special effects and a very well-cast Ryan (not to mention Katee Sackhoff as an unstable, older-model bionic human).
