Dead Man's Walk
In this prequel to 'Lonesome Dove' David Arquette and Jonny Lee Miller star as young Gus McRae and Woodrow Call, coming of age in the days when Texas was still an independent republic. They embark on their first great adventure when they sign up as Texas Rangers under the command of Caleb Cobb (F. Murray Abraham), an unpredictable bandit who wants to seize Santa Fe from the Mexicans. Based on Larry McMurtry's novel, in turn based on the tumultuous true history (and heroes) of Texas.
