Duck Season

What starts off as a boring Sunday becomes a life-altering experience for an unlikely quartet of people in this affecting serio-comedy from Mexico. When a pair of 14-year-old best friends are joined by a quirky neighbour who needs to use their oven and a pizza delivery guy who arrives later than promised, unexpected truths about loneliness, friendship and love are revealed to all four. This engaging slice-of-life cleaned up at the Mexican Film Awards, the Ariels.
