Desert Fury
In the sweltering heat of the Nevada desert lies the small gambling oasis Purple Sage, run by the tough talking Fritzi Haller who stubbornly controls her small empire. When her wayward daughter Paula drives back into town and begins a heated relationship with racketeer Eddie Bendix, Fritzi begins a campaign to drive the delinquent couple apart. Adapted from the novel by Ramona Stewart and starring Lizabeth Scott, John Hodiak and Burt Lancaster.
