Act of Violence / Mystery Street

This film noir double feature includes Fred Zinnemann's dark drama about a crippled G.I. stalking the commander that betrayed him in 'Act of Violence' (1948), starring Van Heflin, Robert Ryan, and Janet Leigh. Then comes John Sturges' 'Mystery Street' (1950), an early example of forensic science being put to good use on a crime.
