Goodnight Sweetheart: Series 1
Gary Sparrow (Nicholas Lyndhurst) is a TV repairman, and unhappily married to the loud and often mocking Yvonne Sparrow (Michelle Holmes). From an underachieving repairman, Gary soon becomes a charismatic time-traveler. This is after discovering a time portal taking him back to a war-torn London, which leads to an east-end pub and an attractive bar maid named Phoebe (Dervla Kirwan), along with the dim-witted policeman, Reg Deadman (Christopher Ettridge). From then on, Gary Sparrow leads a double life, pacing back and forth across time to please the two women in his life closest to his heart, but furthest apart.
