Hong Kong comedy king Stephen Chow directs and stars in this sci-fi family comedy as a struggling single father whose quest to find his son the perfect toy has out-of-this-world results. While Dicky's classmates all play with the latest gadgets, he has to make do with whatever his dad has scrounged from the local dump where he works; but when he brings home a mysterious orb, Dicky gets more than he could have wished for. Wildly inventive and dazzlingly silly, this is a whimsical family flick for kids of all ages. By the way Chow's son in the film is played by a little girl!
