Sunshine ( Blu-ray )
The sun is dying, and in a desperate attempt to save the earth from an imminent deadly ice age, eight astronauts are sent on a million-to-one mission to reignite the failing star. From director Danny Boyle ('Trainspotting', '28 Days Later') this UK blockbuster sci-fi was made for a fraction of what it would have cost in the US, but it doesn't show. An excellent international cast, including Cillian Murphy, Michelle Yeoh, Chris Evans and our own Cliff Curtis, hold their own against epic, mind-boggling special effects.
