The Grand

A largely improvised mockumentary with Woody Harrelson as a playboy actor who enters a poker tournament in order to save his grandfather's hotel from a scheming developer. The poker game is real, and the excellent ensemble do a great job of making up their story around it. From the director of 'Incident at Loch Ness', this inspired weirdness also features Cheryl Hines, Dennis Farina, David Cross, Richard Kind, Shannon Elizabeth, Ray Romano and cameos from Werner Herzog, Michael McKean and Jason Alexander.
