Lou Reed's Berlin

33 years after Lou Reed's ambitious concept album was deemed a critical failure, director Julian Schnabel ('The Diving Bell and the Butterfly') filmed a performance of the now-seminal work over five nights in Brooklyn at the end of 2006. More than just a concert film, Schnabel's daughter, Lola, also shot footage that brings to life the album's central character, Caroline. For Lou Reed fans, this is a must-see.
