The cheerful, unpretentious appeal of Norman Wisdom made him a household name in the fifties, and his hugely popular slapstick comedies outsold the Bond films. Wisdom's diminutive character is a good-hearted buffoon always struggling to find menial jobs, which he performs badly and plunge him in endless chaotic strife. But somehow, Wisdom always gets the girl. This collection contains three vintage Wisdom films; 'Trouble in Store' (1953), 'Up in the World' (1956) and 'On the Beat' (1962).
