Burn After Reading

The Coen Brothers return to black comedy territory, spinning a yarn of espionage and intrigue populated chiefly by the functioning clueless. John Malkovich is a CIA company man, unceremoniously dumped by the agency for over-indulging in the booze, and hellbent on revenge with an explosive memoir. When he leaves a disc containing the manuscript at his gym it is found by two not-so-bright employees (Frances McDormand and Brad Pitt) who think they've stumbled on the cash cow they've been waiting for. Tilda Swinton and George Clooney round out a sparkling ensemble in this smartly hilarious crime caper.
