The Borrowers

Pod Clock is the head of a small family. They are that small they actually live under the floorboards of a Victorian mansion, surviving on the left-overs of the 'Big People'. Their seemingly idyllic life is shattered when the matron's eight-year-old nephew learns of their existence - they must avoid capture or settle for being part of an exhibition! From the novel by Mary Norton, this made-for-tv production stars Eddie Albert, Tammy Grimes, Beatrice Straight, Barnard Hughes and Dame Judith Anderson.
