Simon Pegg is Sidney Young, a Brit-fish out of water in the Big Apple, charmingly obnoxious and unable to take the self-aggrandising celebrity culture seriously. Landing a job at a prestigious magazine, he assumes he was hired for his caustic sense of humour and with oblivious exuberance embarks on a series of tactless blunders, mercilessly biting the hand that feeds.
