The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
17-year-old Makoto is an outgoing tomboy of a girl, living a happy, carefree life - but on this particular day everything seems to be going wrong... in fact they go so wrong she falls in front of an oncoming train! But instead of dying, she finds she has the power to jump back in time. Naturally using her power for her own benefit, Makoto gleefully jumps around, getting more time on the karaoke machine, having sleep-ins and finding out exam results, but she soon finds her attempts to make her life better are actually making it worse - changing the past has unexpected consequences. A delightful anime, full of fun, and winner of Best Animated Film at the Japanese Academy Awards.
