Gospel Hill

Earnest ensemble drama set in a small Southern town still haunted by the unsolved assassination of a civil rights leader there thirty years ago. John (Danny Glover) has dropped out of the community since his brother's murder, while his wife (Angela Bassett) is still a tireless campaigner, currently trying to block developers from turning her hometown into a golf course. Actor Giancarlo Esposito also steps behind the camera for his first outing as director. Supporting cast includes Julia Stiles, Adam Baldwin, Nia Long and Samuel L. Jackson.
