The Last Ridge: The Uphill Battles of the 10th Mountain Division

On February 18, 1945, the newly initiated 10th Mountain Division managed what many thought impossible in the mountains of Italy. Scaling a 2000 foot cliff on a cold winter night, they knocked the Germans from their impenetrable perch. Their legacy is explored in this remarkable documentary which traces the uphill battles they faced during World War II, to the remote corners of troubled Afghanistan where they patrol today. Directed by 10th Mountain descendant Abbie Kealy, and featuring rare insights from over one hundred 10th Mountain soldiers.
