Far North

An eerie and disturbing thriller set in the majestic frozen wastes of the Arctic Circle. Michelle Yeoh stars as Saiva, a determined survivor who has been on the run from a mysterious conquering army ever since they destroyed her family and village. She has a child, Anja, (Michelle Krusiec), whom she has raised in a constant state of fear - at the first sign of trouble, the two move on - but the discovery of a wounded man (Sean Bean), on the run from the same band of men, and Anja's desire to lead a more fulfilling life will bring their isolated existence to a devastating conclusion. Based on the story 'True North' by Sara Maitland.
