Quarantine
A fairly faithful remake of the Spanish hit '[Rec]', in which a TV journalist and her crew find themselves trapped in a building following an outbreak of a rabies-like disease that the authorities are attempting to contain. Employing the same technique of documentary-style, hand-held immediacy, the film follows the carnage as one by one the residents of the building turn into bloodthirsty monsters. Jennifer Carpenter (familiar to 'Dexter' fans) takes the lead as the reporter who has got the scoop of a lifetime - if she can live to tell the tale.
