Adrian Monk is back on the job, once again using his brilliant mind to solve crimes that no-one else can. This season sees Monk trying to work in the face of a garbage collectors' strike; he heads to his school reunion; he almost loses his favourite shrink; and he gets a job as a butler which he just might like to keep. Special guests include Stanley Tucci as a method actor cast to play Monk in a movie about his life, and Dan Hedaya as Monk's estranged father.
