Under The Same Moon

Carlitos lives with his grandmother in Mexico while his mother Rosario works illegally in the USA to build a better life for the family. When his grandmother dies the nine year-old Carlitos embarks on a journey north to reunite with his mum, following the unbreakable bond between mother and son. A heart-warming drama that puts a human face on illegal immigration - a hot-button issue in the US that many politicians would like to see remain focused on racial stereotypes. America Ferrera ('Ugly Betty') appears in a supporting role.
