Tim

Tim (Mel Gibson) is a handsome young man with the intelligence and innocence of a child. Protected from the real world, Tim is working as a labourer and odd-job man when he meets Mary Horton (Piper Laurie), an older well-educated woman. The two strike-up an unusual friendship which causes suspicion as Tim's friends and family question Mary's intentions. Adapted from the novel by Colleen McCullough, this film is a heart-warming love story that proves the old adage that "love will conquer all".
