The Hammer

Jerry Ferro used to be an up-and-comer in the boxing world, but that was a long time ago, before he quit with an untarnished, (and undistinguished), record. Now out of shape, he drifts from one construction site to another, and teaches an evening boxing class to middle-aged middle managers. So when an old coach buddy asks him to spar with his latest protege, Jerry is at first reluctant - and he mostly takes a hiding - but one lucky punch convinces him it's time to make a glorious comeback to the ring. He's going for Olympic gold! US radio and MTV personality Adam Carolla wrote the story (with more than a few self-references) and also stars as the loveable loser in this boxing comedy with a dirty mouth and a warm heart.
