Based on the children's novel "The Golden Days" by Gail Radley, this heartwarming family drama follows a young boy as he tries to adjust to life in his new foster home. After deciding to run away with an elderly woman who used to be a circus worker, he decides to start a new life on the midway - finding acceptance and love along the way.
