A Complete History of My Sexual Failures
Freshly dumped and deeply despondent over an endless string of disastrous relationships, lovelorn filmmaker Chris Waitt picks up his camera and attempts to root out the source of his romantic woes. He starts by tracking down his ex-girlfriends and asking them point blank about his shortcomings as a boyfriend; and he gets some pretty blunt answers, providing hilariously unguarded insight into the psyche of a self-absorbed, semi-delusional Lothario. The long-suffering relationship bungler is even taken to task by his own mother, eventually turning to therapy, acupuncture, and even Viagra in hopes of learning the secrets to loving like a grown-up. Nominated for the Grand Jury Prize in the Documentary category at Sundance.
