Thunder Rock

An adaptation of Robert Ardrey's stage play. Michael Redgrave plays a writer who tries to reveal what is happening in Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, but is prohibited from doing so by the papers for whom he writes. Disillusioned, he gives up and retires to a lighthouse in the Great Lakes. There he meets the ghosts of travellers shipwrecked in a storm many years before. He is eventually persuaded to try to fight fascism again and returns to the world.
