Keep Fit

Joan (Kay Walsh) is a manicurist and George (George Formby) a barber in the same department of the Regal Stores. George is besotted by the gorgeous Joan, but she only has eyes for the scoundrel Hector (Guy Middleton), and looks down on skinny, gormless George. When the 'Country Echo' newspaper organises a county-wide fitness competition, a twist of fate pits George against Hector in a boxing-ring battle for the "Keep Fit" title...and Joan's heart.
