Laid to Rest
A young woman wakes up in a coffin with amnesia, but there's one thing she does know - a freaky killer in a metal mask is about to add her to his list of victims. Special effects make-up guru, Robert Hall ('Buffy the Vampire Slayer', 'Angel', 'The Shield') makes his first foray into the horror genre as director with unsurprisingly spectacular gory results. Hall's real-life wife, Bobbi Sue Luther, takes the lead in this blood-drenched slasher, that features a brutally inventive psychopath who clearly takes his inspiration from slice-and-dice icons of the 1980s.
